Bro. Stephen Shelhamer has lived all over the United States but calls Louisiana his home. Bro. Steve was called into the ministry at 16 years old but ran from the call of God. He graduated from Delhi High School in Northeast Louisiana and then served in the U. S. Navy for six years. After getting out of the Navy, he worked at various fast food and retail management jobs before going to college and seminary. Bro. Steve graduated from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary in May 1999.
Bro. Steve has been married to his wife, Pamela, since November 17, 1984. Steve and Pam met at Parkway Baptist Church in Orlando when Steve was in the Navy. They have three children, Ashley, Caleb and Elizabeth, and one granddaughter, Kate.
Bro. Steve has served churches in Arkansas, Mississippi, Georgia, Oklahoma and Louisiana in youth ministering and pastoring. Steve and Pam are very excited to be back in Florida and looking forward to what God is going to do at Northwest.

Hobbies: Doing stuff with his family, golf and reading.
